If you’ve been required to attend “DUI School” there are a few things you need to know.

First of all, the schools are all regulated by the Georgia Department of Driver Services.  As long as the school appears on the DDS’s website of approved schools, you can be assured that you are attending a legitimate school.  The class is required for all those who have received a DUI, or possession of illegal drugs or controlled substance conviction.

DUI school will cost you $292:  $82 for the Assessment Component, $190.00 for the Intervention Component and $20.00 Materials Fee. The assessment will take about a half to a full hour to complete. The Intervention part is 20-hours long.

It is very important to go to all your classes and get there on time. Even if you are only a few minutes late, the instructor can refuse to let you attend and most schools to not give refunds if you can’t attend or miss  a class. The courses are all taught in person, no online courses exist.
