This happens all the time, especially to people attending pot-band concerts. The police aren't that stupid-- they know which shows bring in the biggest stoners. Just because Jerry Garcia is dead doesn't mean all the good stoner shows are gone. But now when the police shoot fish in barrel, the next day the biggest fish wake up in jail and find the details of their arrest in the local paper. The next time you go to a show, anticipate a big police presence because they WILL be there. Remember, if the police try to engage you in a conversation and you're not blatantly breaking the law, you may not have to identify yourself or consent to a search.
